Privacy
The app
Splitkick has no account and no telemetry. Projects, sessions, chat history and the files your agents produce are stored on your disk, as plain files. Splitkick does not send them anywhere. Updates are fetched from our release server; that request carries the usual request data (IP address, app version) and nothing else.
The agents you run in Splitkick (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and the others) are your own command-line tools with your own logins. They send your prompts and the file contents they need to their model providers, under those providers' terms. Splitkick does not see your passwords or API keys.
Web Access connects your phone or another machine straight to your Mac over your own network or Tailscale. There is no Splitkick server in between.
This website
This website has no cookies, no forms, no accounts and no third-party scripts. We use only the three services below. All requests go to splitkick.app; your browser does not connect to another domain.
Hosting: Vercel
Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, hosts this website in Frankfurt. When you open a page, the server receives the usual request data: IP address, date and time, page address, browser and operating system. Vercel uses this data to deliver the website and to keep it secure, and keeps logs for a short time. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure and fast website).
Statistics: Umami (self-hosted)
We count page views and clicks on the download buttons with Umami. Umami runs on our own server, not at a third party. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address; it uses the request data only to get the country, the browser, the operating system and the type of device. We cannot identify you, and we do not make a profile of you. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful).
Error reports: Sentry
When a script on this website fails, your browser sends an error report: the error message, the page address, the browser and the operating system. The report goes to splitkick.app first and from there to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA). The data is stored in Sentry's EU data region (Germany). Sentry is set not to store IP addresses. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a website that works).
When you write to hello@splitkick.app, we use your e-mail address and your message only to answer you.
